You will assess, plan and deliver targeted therapy to support children’s speech and language development, while monitoring progress and collaborating with teachers, parents, and carers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience delivering speech and language support in schools or educational settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child development and speech/language frameworks.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver targeted speech and language therapy interventions.
• Create safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Observe and monitor progress to inform support plans.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and staff.
• Provide guidance, staff training and support school events as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to optimise communication outcomes.
