Job summary

Bromley Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapist to join the Experts at Hand model and support SEND transformation in Bromley. As a School-Based OT you will help bring specialist expertise closer to classrooms, families and schools, delivering prevention-led, evidence-based OT in real educational settings.

You will manage a targeted+ and specialist caseload, deliver therapy programmes, coach education partners and work with teachers, SENDCOs and families to improve

Qualifications

• Educated to diploma or degree level in Occupational Therapy or equivalent training/study.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in paediatric practice and education settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To work autonomously in a defined clinical area with accountability for own actions.
• Maintain a paediatric OT caseload including assessment, interpretation, and advice.
• Collaborate with education partners to enhance capacity within educational contexts.
• Provide training to educational partners via workshops and group interventions.
• Assess and evaluate child occupational performance using standardised and non-standardised tools.
• Develop and implement specialist OT treatment programmes to improve participation.
