Job summary

The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist for Cambian New Elizabethan School. This term-time role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, reports and needs-led interventions for young people with ASD and related needs.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience working with ASD client group
• CAMHS experience preferred
• A degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and RCOT

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assessments, reports and needs-led interventions for young people
• Work with school staff to embed sensory strategies across the environment
• Offer supervision, staff consultation and training
• Contribute to service development and improvement of the Occupational Therapy service
