Job summary

The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, seeks a dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist for Cambian New Elizabethan School, a day school for children with ASD and complex needs.

The role is term-time only and involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality assessments, reports and sensory-based interventions, while embedding strategies across the school environment and

Qualifications

• A degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with HCPC and RCOT.
• Experience working with ASD client group.
• CAMHS experience preferred.
• Experience in supervision, staff consultation and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assessments, reports and needs-led interventions for young people.
• Embed sensory strategies across the school environment.
• Work with the school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision and training to staff.
