Job summary

Shaftesbury Victoria School in Poole, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our school-based therapy service and develop a high-quality team. You will manage a caseload of students with developmental needs, perform assessments and interventions, and work closely with families and school staff to support learning and well-being.

You will supervise a small OT/OTA team, collaborate with the Head of Therapies, and contribute to CPD and service development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Occupational Therapy team with the Head of Therapies at the school.
• Carry a caseload of students and perform assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to support student outcomes.
• Supervise Occupational Therapists and OTAs within the team.
