Job summary

Shaftesbury Education is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Victoria School in Poole, Dorset, leading the OT team and delivering assessments and interventions for students aged 3–19 with EHCPs.

You will work within a multidisciplinary therapy team, with supervision, CPD opportunities, and a structured induction. HCPC registered, 3–5 years post-graduate experience, and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy (essential).
• HCPC registration (essential).
• Minimum of 3-5 years post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience managing or leading a team.
• Experience working with children & young adults.
• Manual Handling and safe moving practices.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary or multiagency team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Occupational Therapy team within the school.
• Carry a caseload of students and conduct assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide high-quality care.
• Supervise Occupational Therapists within the team.
• Work with Head of Therapies to coordinate services.
