Job summary

Compass is seeking an Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner to join the Mental Health Support Team, delivering evidence-based activities from individual sessions to group workshops in partnership with schools and communities. You will support children and young people to develop tools and confidence, while maintaining records and contributing to the Whole School Approach.

Qualifications

Knowledge of child development, behaviours and mental health challenges.
Familiarity with safeguarding legislation, confidentiality, consent, mental capacity and data protection guidelines.
Confident delivering mental health advice and engaging diverse audiences with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based activities from individual appointments to group sessions.
Collaborate with schools and education settings to support Whole School Approach.
Build strong relationships with schools, families and partner agencies; maintain accurate records.
Travel between community venues and education settings; drive a vehicle when required.
Promote public health initiatives and create tailored resources to support learning.
