Job summary

School-Home Support is seeking a part-time SHS Family Support Practitioner at Revoe Learning Academy, Blackpool. The role, based in the school, requires delivering targeted family support to improve attendance and engagement, working with school staff to promote learning outcomes for children and families.

The role includes term-time hours (2.5 days per week + inset days), with interviews scheduled online and in person. Salaries reflect term-time working weeks and are NHS-scale?

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience working in education or similar to improve attendance and engagement.
• Experience engaging with parents/carers and children or individuals through support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for the children and families supported.
• Focus on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning.
• Work in close partnership with school staff and be based at the setting.
