Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a skilled AV Technician for a friendly co-educational primary school in Gloucestershire. You will provide day-to-day technical support for audio-visual equipment used across classrooms, assemblies and events, ensuring systems are reliable, accessible and ready to use.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, maintaining projectors, interactive displays, speakers and microphones, troubleshooting faults, and liaising with suppliers for repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing AV support, preferably in education or events.
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide quick, practical solutions.
• Comfortable working with a range of audio, visual and presentation equipment.
• Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for AV equipment across the school.
• Set up and operate audio, visual and presentation equipment for assemblies and events.
• Maintain projectors, interactive displays, screens, speakers and microphones.
• Troubleshoot faults and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Liaise with external suppliers for repairs or specialist support.
• Assist with developing and improving the school's AV facilities.
