Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an AV Technician for a respected secondary school in Staffordshire. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining AV equipment for lessons, assemblies, performances and events, ensuring smooth delivery and clear presentations.

You will work with teachers, students and visitors, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a supportive, well-resourced learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in audio visual, IT support, events technology or media services desirable
• Ability to set up, operate and maintain AV equipment including sound systems, lighting and projection
• Understanding of health & safety, safe cabling and equipment handling
• Confidence troubleshooting technical issues quickly and effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team
• Professional communication skills when working with students, teachers and visitors
• Eligibility to work in the UK
