Job summary

An AV Technician position at a respected Secondary School in Birmingham is seeking a proactive candidate to join a forward-thinking support team. The role supports lessons, assemblies, performances and events by setting up, operating and maintaining AV equipment, including sound, lighting and projection.

You will work with students, teachers and visitors, follow health and safety guidelines, troubleshoot issues promptly and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in audio visual, IT support, events technology or media services desirable
• Ability to set up, operate and maintain AV equipment including sound systems, lighting and projection
• Understanding of health & safety, safe cabling and equipment handling
• Confidence troubleshooting technical issues quickly and effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team
• Professional communication with students, teachers and visitors
• Eligibility to work in the UK
