James Brindley School in Birmingham seeks an Attendance Support role to promote attendance, work with families and professionals, and reduce educational disadvantage. The role requires a driving ability between sites and current business use insurance.

You will engage with pupils, parents, and staff, applying SEN Code of Practice guidance and data-driven strategies to track progress and intervene early when needed.

Competenze

• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Experience in partnership/multi-agency working.
• Ability to monitor progress using data.
• Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.

Mansioni

• Promote excellent school attendance and challenge non-attendance to reduce educational disadvantage.
• Collaborate with centre staff, parents, pupils and other professionals.
• Use data to monitor and report progress and outcomes.
• Ensure effective early help strategies to prevent escalation.
