Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a School Administrator for an exceptional 11–18 secondary school in Leeds. You will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to staff, students, parents, and senior leaders to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The role involves being the first point of contact, managing enquiries, maintaining student records in the MIS (Arbor/SIMS), supporting safeguarding, coordinating meetings and events, and helping with admissions and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies.
  • Manage telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally.
  • Maintain accurate student records on the school MIS (Arbor/SIMS).
  • Support attendance processes and safeguarding documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, room bookings, and SLT diaries.
  • Produce reports, letters, and communications on behalf of senior leaders.
  • Assist with admissions paperwork and transition documentation.
  • Support school events, open evenings, and parents’ evenings.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
