Job summary

CER Education Recruitment is supporting a Flintshire-based secondary school to recruit a School Administrator. The role focuses on welcoming parents and visitors, and ensuring smooth running of reception, administration and attendance duties.

You will work with the head teacher and education staff, supporting safeguarding, data protection and efficient office systems. A team approach and confident communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Experience of developing systems and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of SIMS.
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining calendars, records, filing systems and school information.
