Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a School Administrator to join a welcoming primary school in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.

You'll support the school office, greet parents and pupils, manage records and assist staff, all while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality. This role offers a supportive school environment with opportunities for professional development and a clear long-term path.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

You'll be joining a supportive school where communication, organisation and community are at the heart of day-to-day life. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and being a key point of contact for pupils, parents and staff.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the school office
  • Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate pupil and school records
  • Supporting attendance administration and reportingPreparing letters, communications and school documents
  • Assisting staff and senior leaders with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
Requirements or Skills:
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or education setting
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
