Polperro Primary Academy in Cornwall is seeking a dedicated school administrator to join the friendly school office four days a week for 19.5 hours, term-time only (38 weeks) with paid weeks across 43.699 per year. The contract is permanent and is set to commence around November 2026.
The role focuses on efficient day-to-day admin and confidential support to the Head of School. Responsibilities include maintaining Trust administrative and financial systems and managing statutory data returns.

Hours: 19.5 per week over 4 days
Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (Term time only)
Paid weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)
Rate of pay: £25,948.96 (Actual salary of £11,461.15)
Contract: Permanent
Target start date: November 2026
We would like to appoint a charismatic person to work four days a week in our School office (Monday-Thursday) to:
Efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the School’s admin office
Provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the Head of School
Ensure Trust administrative and financial systems are established and maintained
Manage statutory data returns
If you have the ability to work on your own initiative but also work as part of a wider team we would like to hear from you. Experience of working in an office environment is essential.

We currently have 102 children on roll across four classes and our pre-school nursery, and provide a seamless transition between nursery and primary school.
