Job summary

SEIB Insurance Brokers Ltd. in South Ockendon is seeking a Schemes Development Manager with a strong underwriting background to shape and govern specialist schemes.

You will drive new propositions, improve existing products, and help expand our digital trading capabilities while ensuring scheme integrity. Working closely with the Schemes Manager, you will oversee scheme reviews, documentation, and performance reporting, collaborating with insurers and internal teams to deliver commercially

Qualifications

• Strong underwriting background with technical insight into scheme development.
• Familiarity with FCA rules including ICOBS, PROD and Consumer Duty.
• Ability to interpret data/MI and support governance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Shape new scheme propositions and refine existing products.
• Maintain high quality documentation: underwriting guides, binding authorities and policy wordings.
• Support renewal discussions and performance reporting with insurer partners.
• Contribute to governance processes and delegated authority controls.
• Lead collaboration with internal teams and deputise for the Schemes Manager when needed.
