What we’re looking for?

We are seeking a Scheduling Administrative Assistant on a 10-month fixed-term contract to support the Below Ground Scheduling team and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities include:
  • Creating weekly work plans for 5-10 operational teams across a geographical area, ensuring efficiency and performance standards as defined by Operations Area Engineering Managers.
  • Coordinating complex job planning, including map analysis, understanding engineering challenges, and setting operational performance targets.
  • Operating office systems, processing documents, maintaining accurate records, and supporting Build & Replace Scheduling activities.
  • Collaborating with the Scheduling team to deliver outputs across all areas.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure efficient service delivery and operational success.
  • Compiling and providing information to support management decisions.
  • Promoting safe team working and continuous improvement across activities.
You’ll need to have:
  • Math’s and English GCSEs
  • A customer-focused approach for both internal and external clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard desktop applications
  • Excellent written and oral administrative skills
  • Knowledge of the Gas Industry is desirable
  • Demonstrated core behaviors: teamwork, customer service, pride, and energy
