Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Scallop Cutting Trainee Operatives in Redruth. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour, with hours from 6am to 3pm. After 12 weeks, the rate will be reviewed and, if successful, a permanent contract may be offered with pay up to £17 per hour.

Your time at work will involve lifting boxes, moving stock, and learning how to cut scallops. Staffline provides full training, PPE, on-site canteen, and free parking with overtime opportunities.

Great opportunity to start or progress your career as a Scallop Cutting Trainee Operative with our client, a leading producer of raw and chilled fish.

Staffline is recruiting Scallop Cutting Trainee Operatives in Redruth.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

After 12 weeks employment, workers will have their cut rate reviewed. If successful they will be offered a permanent contract and can then earn up to £17 per hour

The hours of work will be 6am to 3pm.

Your own transport is essential due to the location of the site.

Applicants must be over 18 to be considered for this position.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for:

• Lifting boxes
• Moving stock around
• Learning how to cut scallops

Our perfect worker will be reliable, have good time-keeping skills, be flexible and interested in learning a skilled role. Workers must be comfortable on their feet for long periods of time, and willing to learn the skills involved with cutting scallops
