Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager for a rapidly growing defence manufacturer in the Greater Lincolnshire region. You will lead a high-volume batch production facility, driving delivery against the schedule, improving quality, and scaling the operation as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in high-volume batch environments.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the production schedule across a high-volume batch environment.
• Own quality of delivery and drive right-first-time culture.
• Manage and motivate production staff across multiple shifts.
• Oversee training and development of production staff for new equipment and processes.
• Support recruitment of shopfloor staff as production ramps up.
• Collaborate with engineers on commissioning, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, quality and cost.
• Share knowledge with other factories to scale operations.
• Ensure health and safety standards are embedded across production.
• Report production performance to the Operations Director and leadership.
