Job summary

Reevr is seeking an experienced Production Manager in Luton to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and manage production teams in a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on delivering quality products safely and on time while driving performance improvements.

You will drive Lean initiatives, oversee production planning and KPI tracking, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards to meet customer expectations and business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Background in regulated mechanical manufacturing (aerospace, defence, automotive, medical or precision engineering).
• Strong leadership of Team Leaders and production teams.
• Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
• AS9100 knowledge is advantageous.

Production Manager

Location: Luton (On-site)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Benefits Bonus (up to 10%)

Hours: Full-time Flexible Working Hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established, highly regulated mechanical manufacturing business based in Luton.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations, leading production teams to deliver quality products safely, on time, and to customer expectations. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll drive operational performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Background within a regulated mechanical manufacturing environment such as aerospace, defence, automotive, medical or precision engineering.
• Strong leadership experience managing Team Leaders and production teams.
• Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Good understanding of production planning, ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 is advantageous.
