Job summary

St Francis of Assisi Catholic School Canterbury seeks two full-time teachers for the Primary and Intermediate years (1–8). Certificated teachers with strong literacy, numeracy and effective teaching practice are invited to apply.

We require 2 highly motivated, dedicated and collaborative professionals with strong knowledge of literacy, numeracy and effective teaching practice. We are looking for educators with a confident, adaptable approach to the NZ Curriculum who can cultivate a positive learning environment and motivate every child to reach their full potential. Knowledge of the kaupapa of Manaiakalani would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be committed to Catholic education and the values of our school. A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the school is a condition of appointment. We have a fantastic staff, supportive Board and wonderful community, who all work together to enhance student learning.
