Job summary

Qualifications

• Experienced in database management.
• Experience with hierarchical data sets, asset hierarchies in a utility network is beneficial.
• Experience with IEC 101 & GI74 protocols & associated data sets is beneficial.
• Experience in working with ICCP is beneficial.
• Data quality assessment, cleansing and enhancement.
• Knowledge on Master Data Management and secure data handling/change management methodologies
• Asset management

Responsibilities

• Deliver ET SCADA asset databases, network modelling and display changes in conjunction with changes to other systems across NGET to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
• Support CAF and AOR management.
• Support policy and process updates.
• Manage real-time asset databases, network model and display issues with control room staff, ET Operations, and IT to keep SCADA operational.
• Maintain real-time calculations supporting operation of the electricity transmission system.
• Facilitate emulation of telemetry for system testing with ET Operations and 3rd parties.
• Perform data validity checks and liaise with system owners to resolve misalignment.
• Provide continuous training on SCADA databases, network model and displays.
• Coordinate with NESO for asset database and system change alignment with STC and stakeholders.
