Job summary

Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is seeking an IT Security & Operations professional to manage cloud and on‑prem security services for our London office. You will support AzureAD, M365, AWS, and multi‑platform OS while helping maintain Cyber Essentials compliance and operational resilience.

This role requires UK SC Clearance and a hybrid work pattern with 1–2 days in the London office to respond to operational needs.

Qualifications

• Cloud & Identity administration including Azure/AzureAD, SSO, M365 and AWS.
• Multi‑Platform OS knowledge: Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
• Security & Audit: knowledge of Cyber Essentials; certifications like CISM, CISSP are advantageous.
• AI awareness: understanding of modern AI tools and risks.
• Active UK SC Clearance or full eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and refine IT and security service delivery across SaaS and IaaS platforms (AzureAD, M365, AWS).
• Maintain a diverse hardware and OS ecosystem (Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Execute day‑to‑day IT operations: investigations, provisioning, patch management, vulnerability remediation.
• Support audit processes and compliance baselines (e.g., Cyber Essentials).
• Propose operational improvements and optimize security delivery across investigations.
