Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support high-profile Digital Engineering delivery teams in a SAFe environment. You will facilitate agile ceremonies, coach teams, and work with senior engineering stakeholders to maximise performance. Active SC Clearance is essential. The role is Reading-based with two days onsite per week and an initial six-month contract Inside IR35 at up to £650 per day.

Qualifications

• SAFe experience in a complex engineering programme.
• Proven Scrum Master with SAFe and PI Planning.
• Coaching teams and stakeholders to improve delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive delivery excellence and promote Agile best practices across engineering teams.
• Identify, manage and remove blockers to ensure progress.
• Facilitate and support PI Planning events.
• Coach teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles.
• Manage dependencies, risks and delivery challenges across multiple teams.
• Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across engineering and delivery functions.
• Build strong relationships with senior engineering and programme stakeholders.
