Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler seeks an experienced Test Analyst for a 6‑month contract in Telford with hybrid on‑site requirements. The role focuses on testing data‑driven solutions within an Agile team, with emphasis on both manual and automated testing and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Active SC clearance and ISTQB Foundation certification are required; SQL and API testing experience preferred.

Qualifications

Active SC clearance is required for the role.
Experience in both manual and automated software testing across data‑driven systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with data warehouses/ETL.
Experience using API testing tools (Postman) and test management tools (Jira/Zephyr Scale/Git).
Experience in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and execute manual and automated test scripts.
Produce test approaches, plans and completion reports.
Perform functional, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
Create test data from requirements and track defects to resolution.
Collaborate with delivery teams and external suppliers; provide testing progress updates.
Support process improvements in testing and quality assurance.
