Job summary

techTesters Ltd. is seeking a Test Manager for a high-profile defence program in the Wiltshire area. You will lead the test strategy, advocate quality, and manage communication between the consultancy and the government client to ensure robust test assurance.

The role requires on-site work, Active SC clearance, and strong leadership of end-to-end testing across Agile and Waterfall projects. Start date and other logistics will be confirmed upon engagement.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance (SC) required.
• Experience managing full end-to-end testing programs in a large public sector.
• Familiarity with testing techniques, tools and latest trends.
• Experience writing test plans and producing test exit reports; comfortable with Agile and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and write test strategy to industry level best practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the purpose and deliverables of the test effort.
• Monitor the progress and efficiency of the test effort.
• Support high-quality standards by identifying and resolving significant defects.
• Advocate for a suitable level of testability in the software development process.
