Job summary

Searchability NS&D in London is seeking a Python Engineer / Data Engineer on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid and requires active SC clearance to start. You will develop Python-based applications and data platforms, working with cloud technologies and data pipelines.

The position focuses on data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, CI/CD, IaC, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Git, CI/CD and software delivery practices.
• SQL and data pipelines/ETL experience.
• SC Clearance active to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, services and data solutions.
• Build and support data pipelines, ETL/ELT and data transformation.
• Work with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Apply software engineering practices including Git, testing and CI/CD.
• Support cloud infrastructure and automation using Terraform / IaC.
• Work with databases and SQL.
• Support data quality, cleansing and standardisation.
• Collaborate with engineers, data specialists and client stakeholders.
• Work within Agile, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
