Job Description:

Salt is partnered with a Central Government agency that requires a Security Cleared Project Manager to join on an initial 6-month contract.

The role is inside IR35 and requires 1-day per week in Exeter, aligning with the existing work patterns of the team. The day rate for this assignment is £465 per day.

The successful Project Manager will deliver new data delivery capability, working alongside experienced technology leads and a broad range of specialists (Product Managers, Scientific Software Engineers, Technical Architects, Analysts, etc.) as part of a large, multidisciplinary team comprising both the client and external partners.

We seek a Project Manager with proven experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Significant experience in agile project management and bulk data projects is essential, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proven track record in successful project delivery, preferably holding PMQ, Prince2, and/or Prince Agile qualifications.
• Strong communication skills and experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working within technology and/or science domains, ideally related to large-scale data delivery.
• Experience within a wider governance framework, such as managing large programs or using the GDS Service Manual.
• For Data Maturity projects, experience implementing process and people change management using the ADKAR framework.
