Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an experienced Oracle OCI Architect to work on a major cloud transformation under SC clearance. You will design and implement OCI-based solutions, guiding governance and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable environments.

This contract role requires a proven track record in enterprise migrations, strong communication, and the ability to drive architecture decisions across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as an OCI Architect or Oracle Cloud Architect.
• Strong knowledge of OCI networking, IAM, compute, storage and security.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and migration projects.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Active SC Clearance is essential.
• Relevant Oracle OCI certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop cloud architectures covering compute, networking, storage, security and identity services.
• Lead the design of secure, highly available and scalable OCI environments.
• Support cloud migration, transformation and hybrid cloud programmes.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical designs and implementation standards.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions align with security, governance and cloud architecture best practices.
