Job summary

May Business Consulting (MBC) seeks a Senior Cloud Architect with strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) expertise to join our London team on-site. The role focuses on designing end-to-end cloud solutions that are coherent, scalable, secure, and robust, aligning with business and technical requirements.

You will lead technical architecture discussions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide projects from concept through delivery while maintaining documentation and governance

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Cloud Architect or similar senior role.
• Experience designing enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong networking, security, IAM, and compute knowledge.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and definition of end-to-end cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, infrastructure components, and cloud services.
• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and bring together all aspects of the solution design.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design solutions with a focus on scalability, security, resilience, performance, and maintainability.
• Ensure cloud solutions follow architectural principles, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks, constraints, and potential improvements.
• Produce and maintain clear architecture documentation and technical designs.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, application, and business teams.
• Support technical decision-making and communicate complex architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
