Job description

Job Title: IT Engineer SC Cleared

We are recruiting for an IT Engineer with SC Clearance on a contract basis for a leading Government organisation based in Ruislip.

Requirements:

• Only SC Cleared candidates should apply.
• Customer-facing skills and the ability to manage own time are essential.
• Pro-active approach required.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

1. Deployment skills
2. Experience with Windows 7/10/11
3. Helpdesk and deskside support
4. Queue ticket management, ensuring updates and call management to maintain service levels as per contract
5. Hub stock management, including asset management of equipment in/out (scanning items in/out of locations)
6. Effective management of disposals through the hub as per contract
7. Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors for parts and returns
8. Locker replenishments where appropriate
9. Highlight potential issues with service or suggest improvements to team leader
