Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking RF/Analogue Design Engineers for multiple projects in the High Power area. The role involves on-site work in Chelmsford with SC clearance and a 12-month contract.

You will design and validate RF and analogue circuitry for high-power applications and contribute to energy storage subsystem development. The position requires strong background in analogue design and experience in complex systems, with willingness to learn high voltage concepts.

Qualifications

• RF engineers with practical and theoretical knowledge
• Background in analogue circuit design
• Experience in design engineering within complex systems
• Willing to learn high power / high voltage systems
• Understanding energy storage technologies (capacitors, pulsed power, batteries)
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate RF and analogue circuitry for high-power / high-voltage applications
• Develop advanced subsystems within directed energy and energy-intensive platforms
• Apply knowledge of energy storage technologies to system-level design
• Support bid activities, technical proposals, and programme delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to deliver innovative solutions
