Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an RF and analogue design engineer to support high-power subsystems for directed energy projects. The role is based on site in Great Baddow, Chelmsford, with SC clearance to start and a 12-month contract.

You will design, develop, and validate RF/analogue circuitry, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to energy storage system integration, bid activities, and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• RF Engineers with strong practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Background in analogue circuit design.
• Proven experience in design engineering within complex systems.
• Experience with high power and/or high voltage systems preferred or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of energy storage technologies (capacitors, pulsed power, batteries).
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on challenging programmes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate RF and analogue circuitry for high-power / high-voltage applications
• Contribute to the development of advanced subsystems within directed energy and energy-intensive platforms
• Apply knowledge of energy storage technologies to system-level design and integration
• Support bid activities, technical proposals, and programme delivery
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and partners to deliver innovative solutions
