Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is actively seeking RF/Analogue Design Engineers to support high-power subsystem development in a demanding R&D environment. The role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and close interaction with customers and partners to deliver pioneering solutions.

Location is on-site in Great Baddow/Chelmsford with SC clearance; contract length is 12 months and site presence is required (3 days per week on site).

Qualifications

• Experience in RF/analogue design for high-power/high-energy subsystems.
• Background in analogue circuit design.
• Proven design engineering experience in complex systems.
• Experience with high power or high voltage systems preferred.
• Knowledge of energy storage technologies (capacitors, pulsed power, batteries).
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate RF/analogue circuitry for high-power applications.
• Contribute to development of advanced subsystems in directed energy programmes.
• Apply knowledge of energy storage to system-level design and integration.
• Support bid activities, technical proposals, and programme delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers and partners to deliver innovative solutions.
