Job summary

Morson Group in the United Kingdom seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a 12-month+ contract, with SC clearance. You will lead day-to-day site activities, supervise contractors and ensure SSOW compliance and quality inspections to standards.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with MS Office, ReAct and document management tools, able to work autonomously, and make safety decisions on site while coordinating planning, permits, RAMS and site inductions.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office and internal software packages like ReAct.
• Capable of autonomous decision making on health and safety and construction activities.
• Able to plan, coordinate and supervise site activities with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of contractors and sub-contractors ensuring compliance with Urenco SSOW.
• Prepare and manage SSOW, general work permits, hot-work, confined space certificates; act as Permit Issuer and Area Authority as required.
• Ensure RAMS are submitted, reviewed and accepted; coordinate safety case inspections and self-verification processes.
• Manage material requisitions to ensure materials meet quality and project schedule.
• Ensure all workers complete site inductions and SSOW training prior to starting work.
• Plan activities in line with the project schedule and communicate at least 9 weeks in advance.
• Liaise with Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer on cost control, waste, variations, and safety.
