Job summary

1st Step Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Supervisor for a new residential project in Manchester. The role involves overseeing electrical work and subcontractors, scoping work, ordering materials and issuing permits to maintain safety on site.

The successful candidate will coordinate installation, supervise staff, manage schedules, and report progress to managers. Prior supervisory experience on commercial projects and valid SSSTS/SMSTS and ECS/JIB Gold Card are essential.

Qualifications

• SSSTS/SMSTS certification required.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card required.
• Previous experience in a Supervisory/Management role.
• Experience working on commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical installation on site.
• Supervise contractors/subcontractors, ensure H&S and training.
• Order materials and manage schedules to meet programme.
• Liaise with managers and report on site progress.
• Manage variations and site paperwork (RFI, RAMS, diaries, reports).
