Job summary

VIQU IT in London is hiring a SC Cleared DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role. You will join a collaborative engineering team to maintain secure, reliable and high-performing services that underpin our core system in an on-prem environment.

The role requires Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and observability tooling (ELK, Splunk, Grafana) on AWS or Azure, with a focus on issue resolution and roadmap-driven enhancements. A referral bonus of up to £1,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid and transferrable SC Clearance.
• Experience in air-gapped environments.
• Proven ability to resolve issues and drive roadmap enhancements.
• Strong on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift experience.
• Terraform with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Observability tooling experience (ELK, Splunk, Grafana).
• Azure or AWS experience.
• Experience in critical infrastructure/blue light sectors.
• Understanding of P1 service availability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a collaborative engineering team.
• Maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing services underpinning the core system.
• Problem solve and automate within an agile environment using modern tooling.
• Support issue resolution and deliver roadmap-driven enhancements.
• Design and operate observability tooling across logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
