Job summary

Outsource UK in Glasgow is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement for major infrastructure and capital projects, from tender prep to contract award and supplier performance. You will shape sourcing strategies, align procurement with programme budgets and business objectives, and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks across NEC and JCT contracts.

Qualifications

Significant experience in supply chain or procurement within construction.
Detailed knowledge of NEC and JCT construction contracts.
Strong knowledge of construction procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned construction packages, including tender documentation, tender evaluation, supplier negotiations and contract award recommendations.
Support sourcing and procurement activities across infrastructure construction and capital projects.
Provide procurement and commercial support to project teams, ensuring procurement activity aligns with programme requirements, budgets and business objectives.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies within established category and business frameworks.
Identify and manage commercial, contractual and supply chain risks throughout the procurement lifecycle.
