BAE Scotstoun is seeking a Senior Procurement Professional to join the team at Scotstoun. The role offers hybrid working (2-3 days on-site) on a 12-month initial contract, with PAYE and umbrella pay options.
You will manage end-to-end procurement, tender activities and supplier performance across infrastructure construction and capital projects. The ideal candidate will have construction procurement experience, NEC/JCT contract knowledge, and professional qualifications (MRICS/MCIPS).

Job Description
Support the end-to-end procurement processes for assigned packages, including preparation of tender documentation, tender evaluation, supplier negotiations and contract award recommendations.
Support the delivery of sourcing and procurement activities across infrastructure construction and capital projects.
Provide procurement and commercial support to project teams to ensure procurement activities align with programme requirements, budgets and business objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies within established category and business frameworks.
Administer and manage contracts and framework agreements, ensuring supplier performance is monitored and contractual obligations are met.
Support supplier relationship management activities, including performance reviews, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to contract change management, dispute resolution and contract close-out activities where required.
Ensure procurement activities are compliant with internal policies, governance requirements and relevant external regulations.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure sourcing and contracting documentation is completed to the required standard.
Support reporting activities by providing procurement, commercial and supplier performance data.
Work collaboratively with project, commercial and operational teams to identify opportunities for efficiency, value creation and supply chain improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
Experience working in supply chain for the construction industry
Knowledge of NEC – JCT Construction contracts
Procurement construction approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy.
Experience of contract and supplier performance management
Client side experience
MRICS qualification or similar
MCIPS
Experience in public sector/regulated environments useful
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
