Job summary

1st Executive is seeking a Procurement Manager / Consultant to lead end-to-end procurement strategies for major UK infrastructure programmes from our City of London base.

You will advise clients on commercial strategy, draft tender documents, evaluate bids and manage relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, NEC and FIDIC contracts, aiming to deliver value and programme certainty.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Procurement or related field.
  • MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience delivering complex public sector procurement projects in infrastructure or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Public Procurement regulations and governance.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and problem-solving ability.
  • Consultancy experience is advantageous.

Procurement Manager / Procurement Consultant - Major Infrastructure Projects

Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to influence some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction and property consultancy renowned for delivering commercial, procurement and project management expertise across complex infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work with major public and private sector clients, helping shape procurement strategies that deliver long-term value on nationally important programmes. Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you’ll advise clients throughout the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For
