Job summary

Searchability in Cheltenham, United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, supplier management and commercial delivery on complex defence programmes. You will work across sourcing, supplier performance, contracts and supply chain risk to ensure programmes have the people, services and materials needed to deliver.

You will manage supplier negotiations, monitor performance, and support bids and proposals while maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement or commercial management.
• Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
• Background in construction procurement.
• Experience negotiating subcontracts.
• Understanding of contract and subcontract law.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting bids and proposals.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Active SC clearance.

• Role: Supply Chain Manager
• Location: Cheltenham, UK
• Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE
• Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance

We’re supporting an organisation delivering complex programmes within the Defence and technology sector and are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to support procurement, supplier management and commercial delivery.

You’ll work across sourcing, supplier performance, contracts and supply chain risk, helping ensure programmes have the people, services and materials they need to deliver successfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain activity across complex programmes
• Identify and manage suppliers, subcontractors and procurement requirements
• Lead supplier negotiations and tendering activity
• Monitor supplier performance, costs, quality and delivery
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
