Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking an SC Cleared Backup Engineer to join the Backup team delivering managed services across Live, Development and Test environments. The focus is Veritas NetBackup with migration and transformation projects, plus BAU support and occasional out-of-hours work.

You will provide 2nd/3rd line backup support, work with VMware and storage appliances, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure high availability while adhering to ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years in 2nd/3rd line backup support.
• Strong knowledge of backup/restore technologies.
• Experience with Veritas NetBackup and storage appliances.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line backup support across Live/Dev/Test.
• Deliver change, migration and transformation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery incidents.
• Work within ITIL Incident and Change Management processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure service availability.
