Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Data Storage Solution Architect to join the Service Operations team. This six-month contract focuses on delivering enterprise storage architectures across critical workloads, with initial emphasis on the Data Centre Exit programme and supporting ongoing storage services for a major UK account.

The role is primarily remote with occasional visits to Manchester; candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Solution Architect or Storage Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in enterprise storage technologies and platforms.
• Experience designing storage solutions across multi-site environments.
• Proven experience supporting data centre exit programmes or infrastructure migrations.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data storage solutions.
• Provide technical architecture support for the Data Centre Exit programme.
• Define storage strategies, standards, and roadmaps aligned to business requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, security, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Produce high-quality architectural documentation, designs, and solution proposals.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across storage-related projects.
• Assess current-state environments and recommend improvements and migration strategies.
• Ensure solutions meet operational, security, resilience, and service management requirements.
• Support project delivery teams throughout the full solution lifecycle.
• Act as the storage SME for stakeholders across the HMRC account.
