CBSbutler is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer for a confidential project in London, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on designing, building and operating secure, scalable cloud platforms using AWS, IaC with Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Docker containers, Lambda serverless services, and scripting in Python or Bash within an Agile team, mentoring peers and delivering high-quality technical designs.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Terraform experience, implementing Infrastructure as Code at scale.
• Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker and containerisation skills.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and operate cloud platforms and solutions using AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
• Work with Docker and containerised workloads.
• Develop and support serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and other managed services.
• Implement automation and scripting using Python or Bash.
• Produce high-quality technical designs and documentation.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Support continuous improvement, secure development and modern platform engineering.
