Recruit4staff is representing a leading manufacturer seeking a Saw Operator for their Telford facility. The role involves cutting aluminium with a saw, assisting other departments, and participating in stock checks. You will be part of a small, team‑oriented workshop with room to grow.

During probation, the role starts at £13.00 per hour, increasing to £13.30 once permanent. Hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Formación

• Sheet metal experience is essential.
• Must be able to do manual work and read a tape measure.
• Good numeracy and mechanical aptitude are required.

Responsabilidades

• Cut aluminium using a saw.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Conduct stock counts and maintain accurate records.
• Use of tape measure for precise measurements.
• Work in a small team environment to meet production targets.

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Saw Operator to work in their leading facility in Telford.

Whilst on your probation period the successful Saw Operator are offered;

• Starting rate of £13.00 per hour which will increase to £13.30 once perm
• 8:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Friday
• Temp to perm
• Overtime is paid at time and a third
• Progression opportunities
• Free parking

Once you are full time with the company the Saw Operator would receive;

• Overtime available at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday and double time Sunday
• 28 days holiday
• Annual Christmas shutdown paid in full
• Company uniform
• Pension plan
