Job summary

Quality Personnel is recruiting for a Machine/Saw Operator in Milton Keynes on a temp-to-perm basis. Hours are 7am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Ideally you will hold a Counterbalance licence, though this is not essential. The role involves operating a flat bed circular saw to cut aluminium plate from 6mm to 100mm thick, planning cuts for maximum yield, loading with an FLT, packing finished orders and keeping the workspace tidy.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Experience in operating a flat bed circular saw is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate flat bed circular saw to cut aluminium plate 6mm to 100mm thick to size (training provided).
• Calculate cutting plan to maximise yield and minimise scrap.
• Load materials onto the saw using a forklift.
• Pack finished orders and maintain general housekeeping.

Ideally the successful candidate will have an up to date Counterbalance licence but is not essential

• Calculate cutting plan to obtain best yield and minimum scrap.
• Load saws with material using FLT
• Pack finished orders
• General housekeeping
