Greencore at Selby is seeking an enthusiastic production operative to mix ingredients and manage kettles, ensuring consistent batches and high-quality output. You will follow recipes, monitor line performance, and maintain strict safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, with progression opportunities within our growing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication.
• Willingness to work in varied temperatures.
• Capable of manual lifting 5–20 kg.
• Commitment to training and mentoring new staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes.

Responsabilités

• Mix ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles.
• Follow recipes and specifications to ensure batch consistency.
• Meet output targets and improve line performance.
• Maintain housekeeping, health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Resolve running problems and handle ingredients.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff.
