Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Sauce Cooking Operative in Cawood to join a busy production line. You will mix ingredients in kettles, follow recipes and ensure batches are consistent and on time, while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

The role operates across early shifts with training that raises pay from £15.60 to £16.02 per hour. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to continuous improvement and teamwork across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Follow health and safety and food safety policies at all times.
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and teamwork under pressure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment producing quality, safe products.
• Good attention to detail and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles following recipes.
• Ensure consistency across batches so products are high quality and on time.
• Carry out assigned operations and meet output targets.
• Contribute to improved line performance and efficiencies.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and housekeeping standards.
