Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Sauce Cook Operative in Erith to support the Low-Risk Cook & Prep Department in producing ready meals. This full-time role offers fixed shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am) with clear progression from Grade 5 to Grade 7 after training.

The position starts at £13.11 per hour with overtime at £19.67 per hour. Applicants must be physically fit for fast-paced food production and will receive full training, PPE, and site support.

Qualifications

• Good problem solving skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Be punctual, reliable and have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train across all cook pots to meet production requirements.
• Record CCPs and complete process sheets; ensure quality, hygiene and safety.
• Handle ingredients responsibly and ensure correct cooking per the process sheet.
• Load ingredients into cook pots and cook product according to specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with health and safety standards.
